What You'll Do/Need

The Nexsys Technologies Team Leader leads a cross-functional, agile software development team, including Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Software Quality Engineers, etc. They lead a specific team to support and maintain existing applications and development of new technical solutions.



  • Create an environment for team member growth and accountability by setting expectations and goals, monitoring outcomes, coaching, motivating, providing regular feedback and celebrating achievements
  • Foster an environment for team collaboration and success by implementing and maintaining best-practices, monitoring dynamics and performance, and seeking opportunities for continual improvement
  • Maintain team by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training team members; maintain a safe and secure work environment; develop personal growth opportunities
  • Ensure the team is selecting proper technology solutions for actual business problems, and delivering high-quality software
  • Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with teams of focus
  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends and anticipating requirements
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies



  • Bachelor's degree required or significant relevant experience
  • Three to five years of technology experience
  • Solid communication, client service, time management and leadership skills
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in implementing effective and innovative software development methodologies
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Solid writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and motivate team
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Broad knowledge of data processing systems, concepts and methodologies
